Blue Nun Satay Dipping Sauce

Creamy, nutty, and irresistibly smooth, our satay dipping sauce blends roasted chickpea, coconut milk, and a touch of spice with a sweet–savory balance. A rich, velvety companion that turns every satay bite into pure indulgence.”

Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp Blue Nun Satay Dipping Sauce Powder

  • 1 cup coconut milk

  • 2 tbsp coconut sugar, or to taste

  • 1 tbsp cooking oil

  • 1/2 tsp salt, or to taste

  • 1 tbsp crushed, roasted peanuts (substitute with crushed, cashew, or omit altogether) (optional)



Preparation

  1. Place a small pot on low heat, add 1 cup coconut milk, 1 tbsp cooking oil,  4 tbsp Blue Nun Satay Dipping Sauce Powder, 2 tbsp coconut sugar and 1/2 tsp salt. Stir or 2 min. until evenly dissolved, simmer for an additional 12 minutes.


  2. Remove the pot from heat and transfer the sauce to serving bowls. leave it cool at room temperature.


  3. Top with roasted peanuts.



Spice Variations & Additions

There’s no harm in being versatile with your dipping sauce. You can always adjust the recipe to suit your taste preferences.

  • Spice level: if you enjoy spicier dishes, consider adding fresh chilies, chili powder or chili oil.

  • Flatbreads: naan, roti or pita are ideal for scooping up the dipping sauce, ensuring every last drop is savoured.
