Yellow Curry, or kaeng kari (แกงกะหรี่), is a coconut milk-based, relatively mild, Thai curry. Due to its gentler flavour profile, Yellow Curry is amazingly versatile. In Thailand, the curry is usually served with ajaad (อาจาด), a pickled cucumber condiment with chilies & shallot, that often accompanies satay as well.
Typically milder than Green or Red, Yellow Curry, or kaeng kari, is not to be confused with other Thai curries yellow in colour, such as the sour kaeng leung (แกงเหลือง), literally Yellow Curry, also referred to as kaeng som (แกงส้ม).
